Dear NEBWA Members,

The past year has been difficult for the bottled water industry. Anti-bottled water groups supported by media bias have fermented many distortions about our products. While industry trade groups such as the International Bottles Water Association and Northeast Bottles Water Association fight misinformation daily, the cost to wage a “truth squad” would be in the millions of dollars. Given current economic conditions the bottled water industry cannot support large media buying costs to get the facts straight.

There is good news! The bottled water industry, long had its roots in Home and Office delivery business, while single serve PET has been the dominant product in the last ten years. Now the focus once again is on 5 gallon recyclable bottles. Green products are in high demand as consumers adjust to national trends and the HOD bottle is perfect for our message.

NEBWA membership represents bottlers, distributors, suppliers in all of the New England states including NY, NJ, and PA. In addition, state regulatory agencies are also part of our membership.

We at NEBWA are committed to educating our members with technical and educational seminars to meet the challenges of providing the best bottled water products available.
